FAMILY AND VETERAN OWNED

Best place ever I drive up there every year from Castle Rock Co. I’ve been to all of the other stores and all the sales hype. This place treats me right and they remember me plus you get more bang for your buck pardon the pun.

OUR STORY

THE KREHBIEL’S

My grandparents started Wholesale Fireworks back in the early ‘60s with nothing but a folding table, a few boxes of firecrackers, and a beat-up camper parked off the highway. They were hard-working, stubborn, and full of grit — the kind of people who could turn a summer hustle into something that lasted generations. Every year, they’d set up shop as soon as the snow melted and keep it running straight through the Fourth. Folks didn’t just come for the fireworks — they came for the stories, the jokes, and the way my grandparents made every customer feel like part of the family.

I grew up in the middle of all that. Summers smelled like gunpowder and sunscreen, and I learned early how to stack mortars, fix a fuse, and keep customers happy. When Courtney and I took the reins, we knew we wanted to grow the business without losing what made it special. She’s got the eye for keeping things organized and sharp, and I’ve always chased the next big boom — the louder, the better. We’ve turned that little roadside stand into a full storefront, but at the core, it’s still the same: just a family, a love for fireworks, and a whole lot of late nights leading up to the Fourth.
